What Can Go Wrong (And How to Handle It)

London Eye is too busy

Book a private capsule (expensive but worth it). Alternatively, propose on the OXO Tower rooftop bar with similar Thames views.

It's raining (it's London after all)

The Shard viewing gallery is fully enclosed with incredible views. The British Museum's Great Court is free and stunning.

Primrose Hill is crowded

Go at actual sunrise - most people aren't up that early. Hampstead Heath viewpoint is a similar backup.

Tower Bridge walkway has school groups

Avoid school holiday periods. The late afternoon slot is usually calmer. Have a backup plan at nearby St Katharine Docks.

Photographer is too obvious

'That person has a professional camera - let's ask them to take our photo!' Classic misdirection that works every time.
